Kent / London trip: April 2006 (Part 2)

There wasn't actually much of note for 'part 2' after all.

Original plans on Monday were to paint a fence for the company our friend works for (it'd be a paid job, helping to pay for the trip etc). We'd go out armed with overalls and paint spray gun(s). However it chose that day to rain, and given that the instructions on the paint were 'make sure surface is clean and dry, we were sunk on that idea!

Instead a smaller 'team' went to do some tiling, whilst my mum and myself stayed at the house (I watched the rest of Blake's 7) so that was that - never mind!

Tuesday was spent packing and travelling, stopping about half way to install a computer, in return for a very nice lunch (and the offer of another old car donation later in the year - I seem to be a magnet for them! The car I have now is newer but if it decides to be a pain it's something to fall back on and it's been impeccably serviced.) Little time was left after getting home, and I was thankful that I'd decided to book the Wednesday off work to chill out. Although I spent it messing with my bedroom!
